Claim Crazy

• Description: I tried to incorperate a more regulated rhyme scheme in this one. It's about a few things but overall, just about how things like to pile up. It's also talking about a few realizations I've had lately. And it comes with some advice: before you try to blame everything on everyone else, make sure you are actually the one that's right. Always consider the possibility that you can be wrong

How dare you claim "righteous"
When you cant even fight this
demon inside us
givin you hepatitis
No... wait, I dont want to start hateful
So if you're handing out lies than give me a plateful
Disgraceful, this condition we're in
Escape will only bring you deeper within
It's safe to say that saftey's a fable
Because no one's really safe as long as they have cable
So try to play innocent as long as you're able
Or you might get caught in another lame label
Dark times are coming but pretend you dont care
If that don't work, light up your hair
and put that in your pipe and smoke it
Im just kidding, it's only a joke, it
never fails to amaze me when we fail to claim "crazy"
for the fear of not being accepted
This tribulation called life is unexpected
Forgive me father for I have transgressed
Transformed, tresspassed, took tromadol and smoked cess
If this is the best, then I'll come in next
because rock and roll, drugs, loss of family, and sex
have left... me... stressed
I guess that's what I came to say but...
that cant be right... not all of it anyway
upon deeper inspection, I suspect the infection
has roots grown deep in my own illusions
grand dillusions only lead to substitutions of real life
Maybe this is a mid-life crisis
because sometimes it's
not lookin like I'll make it past thirty-two
But what's it to you?
And as I find myself awaiting the arrival
of the dark-eyed abortion survival, I say to myself:
"That could be me"

Usually, I'm not a big fan of the "rhymes" like this, but I went crazy when you said

"It's safe to say that saftey's a fable
Because no one's really safe as long as they have cable"

Love it! I suggest ending with another rhyme, though. Gives the listener a sense of finality and satisfaction. I like the question asking at the end. :]
