The feeling of complete capture. You can try and fight it, but you are still engulfed in the beauty of their eyes.

Like the sunset
your eyes shimmer.
with an amber warmth;
they will fall into
the night, invisible to all.

The sun knows this beauty;
this show is finite.
Everyday it promises beauty,
and sorrow.

Like Medusa,
your eyes entrap
wanderers into an abyss;
they will turn men
to statues, the beauty of jade.

Alas! I am the gift of Hermes;
I know the deceit, the horror.
I see your piercing eyes
through my shield.

By the shield I view
your soul, your gems
glimmering on the reflection
I have failed the Gods.

Slowly, I turn green, Jade;
my legs, arms, torso
tingle with the bitter sweet
sensation: obsession of love.

Ive written so much like this...Perfect
