• What is true love?
    Is it something we can create and manipulate as if it were but, a game?
    Or has it always been there awaiting us to find it?
    Does it sneak up on us as a thief in the night?
    Or, does it make its presence known all at once?
    Does love complete us?
    Or just defeat us, and wreak havoc with our souls?
    Is it just an enticing mirage trying to lure us in
    With its empty promises of happiness, fulfillment and joy?
    No, I believe there is more to it than just that.
    True Love is, understanding
    It changes, as the winds change over the desert
    With each choice you make, you and your soul mate change slightly
    You grow closer together, or farther apart depending, on Your actions
    And how You decide, to live Your life.
    True Love, isn’t all you need for a good relationship.
    You have to care for the relationship, as if it were a garden,
    You must shower it with love and understanding,
    Even through the hard times
    You care for it and spend time with each other,
    Even when you don’t have the time
    You have to always stick together
    No mater, how dark it gets
    And above everything, you work together
    Even when you don’t want to.
    That is True Love
    With out that your relationship will wither and die.
    And you will be blown away like the sands of time,
    Gone, and Forgotten
