She was sitting there, quietly,
Wandering through what seemed eternity,
Her true heart's love,
patiently, curiously; was he alright?
Watching the petals fall from that cherry blossom tree,
Was it a sign?
Wind carrying on aimlessly,
From the bottom of her aching heart filled with worry,
She kept that gentle smile of his in her heart,
Lifting her out of her tears; into the wind, she knew everything would be alright,
Blindly, she went on.
Day in and day out, she waited calmly,
For when she returned, her heart would be complete; happily,
But when that day came, he was there, but it wasn't him,
This wasn't who she left; the angel that made her heart sing,
Only a demon, a greedy king, seducing with his lies,
When she tried to speak, everything was washed away,
Her eyes once blinded by love, now opened to reality,
Confronting his minions, she watched from a distance,
Was this a dream?
All revealed with that kiss from his mistress; that vow, once concieved by their love,
Was it only lust?
For when he saw her running, he watched and chased after with worry,
When she stopped, she realized she was decieved, but when he arrived he carried but only a rose,
The demon seemed to vanish, but was it not camoflauge that created the deception before?
She watched the rose, fading in the wind; petal by petal, carried away swiftly,
Only tears filled her face carelessly,
Once more the wind picked up, and she realized she was back at that Cherry blossom tree,
Was it a dream, or a nightmare in reality?

- Description: I wrote this while I was away for a long time, and I got a bit of heartache, so, I hope you enjoy it, it won't be too depressing, but it will make cuurious eyes turn. Kinda a dream I had the night before, that I hope will never happen.
