    What happened to Today?
    What happened to Time?
    To where has it Slipped Away?

    I started out as a Child,
    when time had no Meaning.
    I was Reckless and Wild,
    not Caring, not Thinking.

    Then came the teen years,
    that I didn't want to let Go.
    I Thought I Knew Everything,
    yet had Everything left to Know.

    Before I Knew it, I was an adult,
    going to College, and Settling Down
    with Responsibilities piling on me
    and going off On My Own.

    Then next thing I Knew,
    I was Old and Whithered
    with Nothing to Do
    but hither and tither.

    So now I Say. . .

    Time moves to fast
    So never look back
    Just keep moving forward
    and don't tarry in the past.

    So what happened to Now?
    What happened to Today?
    What happened to Time?
    I still can not say.
