Words are poison in my blood
Your words, they hate and tear
Twisting my heart, a crushing flood,
Stabbing of my heart is too much to bear
Your cruel mouth twist into a smile,
And speaks. Oh! That devil’s tongue!
The venom spews from your mouth so vile.
It burns my skin and I cry out to you,
Why? You stand over me laughing.
Is that really you? A serpent determined
To take revenge with your bloodsucking
And horrific words? I’m frightened.
These words of pain and ultimate sorrow,
Be gone! Do not consume me! Tear it apart
Stop squeezing my heart. I’m waiting for tomorrow.
Your words no longer affect me and my poisoned heart

Zane there are many different styles of poetry and many different levels and I am sure you are not exactly at best level of poetry.
As for the poem I did like it but one or two word modifications would have made it a little better. - Report As Spam
