I tried.
I tried to love unlike you did me.
I tried to break lose and get free.
I tried to cry but I didn't get far.
I tried to cut but I couldn't start.
I tried to forget but I still remember.
I tried to remove that day whenever.
I tried to release but you wouldn't let go.
I tried to stop your evil show.
I tried to move on but it was to hard.
I tried to live but I just couldn't stay.
I really hated that day.
My body walks on but my soul did die.
The worst part is that I can't even cry.
You stole my soul and there's no redemption.
All because of your misconception.

At first glance I didn't want to read this, but, you create a really nice foot and rhythm. It really flows lyrically, but at the end it feels like it maybe should have some return to the "I tried" opening? This piece is good as is, but if you continue to polish it you could make it something amazing.
