-
and then one day there was nothing left
except to say goodbye.
goodbye house, goodbye trees.
goodbye driveway and goodbye street.
momma says to say goodbye-
we're all packed up and leaving
going away- goodbye goodbye.
will you miss me when im gone?
when no one plays in the flowerbed
and on the lawn? will you miss me
when the mailman comes and
the flag is always down?
momma says to say goodbye
goodbye house i hope
you miss me too.
