-
The cat walk gingerly
Along the picket fence.
The fence is narrow
Absolute attention.
The cat's nimble ears
Follow bird above
And WOOPS balance lost.
Dignity, it is
The name of the game.
Scramble scramble
The cat is back
Atop the fence.
Nobody saw that.

- Title: Eternal Vigilence
- Artist: TiggerIsMyCat
- Description: A poem that I wrote for my English class. It's supposed to be in the style of the poet William Carlos Williams: simple, and heavy use of imagery. He wrote a poem about a cat carefully walking over a cupboard and then falling into a flowerpot, and my cat recently had had a little chance to look stupid, thus my inspiration.
