• I Christmas of the heart
The cold snow beneath her bare feet
as she looks upon the flakes memories of her life flash by
Warm fires and the laughter of loved ones
a kiss beneath the missel toe
the thrill of unwrapping the gifted boxes in colored paper
The gleam in the eyes of all around her
The love that covers and protects filling her soul
The voice of singing a carols cheer
And then it all comes to an end
She looks around as all leave
wanting to stop them so that the merriment does not end
And then she is taken from atop her tree
and placed into a box till next Christmas eve
