Tear drops raining down my cheeks
With the unforgoten memories I weep
You screams echo in my ear
The sight of you limp makes me fear
As I hold you in my arms
Cold as you may be
I whisper to you softly
Chocking out the words I repeat
How wonderful it would be
If we ran away to the sea
The breeze brushing past us with ease
Laughing as the waves lick our feet
Slowly laying you down
Letting you find that eternal sleep
Walking away from the world so cold
The darkness engulfing me

- It's very raw, and emotional... but not too original. There are many poems like this. I'm not discrediting you, mind you, I'm simply saying that through my point of view this is a rough draft, and I believe you have the skills to truly transform this piece of work into a piece of powerful artwork.
