• when i was a little girl
    i used to have many blankets
    that would bring me warmth
    one had green patterns
    and
    another had blue stars all over
    i had many many many blankets
    and
    they all brought comfort and warmth to me in frigid times
    but there is still that other one that came to me in the winter,
    that blanket that brang to me chills
    these frigid feeling that used to bring me joy
    and this blanket was called
    "BLANKET OF SNOW"
    when i grew up i kept that blanket close to me
    but then came that day the day that most parents are afraid of
    "my first day of college"
    on that day
    i said good-bye to that blanket for good
    i haven't seen it since
    but i know that whenever i can
    i may go back to that blanket
    but i just gotta wait for winter to come back
    for now i'll stay in california
    but i know that
    we will meet again...
