FRIENDLY REVELATIONS
by UC Poika
You were the friend I had been looking for
As nearly every day I watched for change
In hopes the slightest difference might cause you
To be manifested like a burning torch
That appears as from behind some interchanged
Or rearranging barrier to truth,
Some veritable yard light shining through the woods
That calls me back from being lost for good,
From searching for the switch beside the dash,
Or the closet for the coat without a lamp
To light the wall where hangs the puppy’s leash,
Or the clutter for “I Love You” postage stamps;
You are the day that dawns the night away,
You are the one that helps me find myself always.

Me i presonaly like the story1 5/5. But my least favorite line was " Or the clutter for "I love you" postage stamps.
I wasnt sure what that had to do with anything. - Report As Spam
