Because it was meant,
To be in your life.
Etched. Fated.



Destined.



Choose your chances.
Chances, are choices.
Choices, are chanced.


If uncertainty is dark,
Light the candle with hope.
Fear not the unknown.


With eyes closed,
Heart wide open,
Take the leap.
Then, believe.

I think the reason I love this piece so much is that there's like two voices in this poem.

If you just read the highlighted words, you get a poem in a poem...

And I dunno, it's pretty powerful and effective.
