Aboard a ship that has set sail upon the ocean
Standing still despite the rocking motion
Taking in the Freedom he holds his breath
The only one he will ever pay any heed is death
He is now distant, living his life alone
How could anyone feel so jaded
Memories are brought back as he stares at the sea's foam
If only life were not so complicated
Aboard that ship, His run away train
knowing soon his time will come to pass
Remembering all the scars left upon his heart of brass
So long ago, he still feels the pain
He sails to the end of the world
Looking for a long lost light
crying those tears left behind an age ago
He will sail his last voyage on into the night

Description:
This is something I wrote for a class, I actually wnet through several drafts becuase I wasn't satisfied with it for a long time. It's a Stanza, so only certain lines are supposed to rhyme, for example : paragraph 1= AABB, line A rhymes with the second line A, same For B. the order goes:
AABB
ABAB
ABBA
ABCB
whether or not he has died is for you to decide, and Stanzas are usually about something tragic, thanks for reading! - Date: 05/14/2009

- Ya I was starting to pick up the pattern. Good work. The only part I didn't like was you reference to the run away train. It kind of messed with me visually.
