I saw you today
You didn't see me.
Doing a doubletake,
You realized it was me.
You waved and so did I.
Then we parted.

Our bond has broken
There is nothing left.
Why pretend?
We can't go back to then.
We can only go forward
Upon our separate paths
Never to meet again.
