Hard chair
wooden chair
sitting here.
My mind is pacing
swiveling in a chair
this chair
fake wooden chair.
Humming laptop
vibrating plastic laptop
hot to touch.
Typing clacking
noisy laptop
killing my eyes.
Hanging back
leaning back
against the wall.
Back in this chair
swaying back
against my wall.
Teacher’s talking
talking teacher
drooping lids.
She’s talking of literature
to me
to the class,
in general.
Falling asleep,
lid’s driving down.
Fall asleep,
the light has faded.
Asleep.

- Title: This Chair
- Artist: Jade Gears
- Description: Well, I was in the library for Language Arts class and the seats are really uncomfortable, to get me started here. And at my school we each have our own laptop we have to carry around (trust me it's not even half as great as it sounds) and I had a headache only intensified by the damnable thing. Well, needless to say I was clacking this away when I was supposed to be taking notes. Ta-da! Oh, and I was experimenting with the format, so tell me how you like it!!!

Very very familiar scene...
Are we in the same class?
