    everynight i howl alone
    never to be with my love

    my wings are chopped to nothing,
    enabling me to ever fly away
    to be stuck in one form forever,
    i send silent pleas to the moon,
    it will stare at my body. . . without mercy
    i pull at my chains attempting to be free
