You risked your life
to make our future bright
Just retelling your story
makes our eyes bright
ready for more
your tales are happy, sad
and fun
we hope that you are surly not done
when you finially finish your tale
we all look up at you
with a new respect
ready to do any request
but only few words are needed
to show how we feel

Thank You for all you've done
simple yet sincere

Yes war makes some things bright. I like this poem a lot because it shows how much the veterans and soldiers risk to make our lifes easier. It also shows how selfish we are.
