    The Kitty-Cat
    A kitty-cat came to my house today,
    Mommy gave her some milk and sent her on her way,
    The kitty-cat came back tonight,
    Her howling gave Baby quite a fright.
    Then the cat stood on two legs and walked away.


    The Crazy Pony
    The crazy pony was dappled gray,
    She turned to me and began to say,
    “I want a new stable,
    And if you’re possibly able,
    A new bale of hay.”


    The Sisters Share a Room
    Lily and Billy had to share a room,
    They knew this would be the ultimate doom.
    Well, Lily smashed Billy’s head through the floor,
    And Billy threw Lily through the door,
    And their daddy said, looking at their scattered heads, “Well, their lights went out with a boom.”


    The Baby Bouncer
    The baby bounced off the wall,
    He says he plans to bounce to the end of the fall,
    He bounces and giggles,
    And laughs and wiggles,
    And bounces off the wall like a ball.


    The Moon and the Sun Were at War
    The moon and the sun were at war,
    Only shining twelve hours a day was a bore.
    The moon said ‘Fine, I’ll stop the war, but give up your long summer days.”
    The sun said “No, I’ll stop the war, but give up your cold wintery ways.”
    And so the moon and sun are still at war, and they will be, forevermore.


    The Sunny Sun Sun
    The sunny sun sun had lots of fun
    Eating hot dogs wrapped up in a bun.
    The sunny sun sun was bright
    Brighter than a fluorescent light,
    The sunny sun sun was brighter than fun.


    The Lobster in Yankee Stadium
    The lobster arrived at Yankee Stadium late,
    He almost fell into a sewer grate.
    He crawled into the seafood stand,
    And a man picked him up, and said, “Why, you will be grand.”
    And then the lobster was on the man’s plate.


    The Odd Visitor From the South
    There once was an odd little man,
    He wore black and white and was nowhere tan.
    He was very far from home,
    And he said with a groan,
    ‘Now, where is another penguin?”
