I'm not really sorry

• Description: This is a poem I wrote for a creative writing course I was taking last year... I had a theme of depressing and dark pieces... This is short but I really like it, the assignment was to write a poem were the narrator was apologizing for something they'd done wrong but they admit they aren't really sorry.

Blood drips from the wall
The knife falls to the floor
Screams echo in my ears
Forgive me I enjoyed it
Seeing all those tears
Constantly filling me with happiness
Forgive me for killing you
I wish that I had stopped
But in the end I loved it
I giggled while you died
