Starless
Fujiko1-Written on: 3/29/09
Shadows lie beneath the stars
Always wondering who they are
The nights go on without them there
Moving on without a care
The silent trees sway back and forth
Against the wind, they shudder north
The starless sky rests above
The moon, the shadows, remnants of
A time once lost, never found
Buried deep underground
All hope is lost
The sun is gone, but at what cost?
These scars that lay upon my wrist
Leave regrets, un-uttered bliss
The good time has gone, ruthless as it was
Spitting back in my face only just because
Promises made, promises kept
Hatred there without exempt
Something is to be done now
What it is, I will find out somehow
Or will I, forever, be locked inside
Never to escape, always to hide
Into the depths of Hell I go
The burden I bear, not many ever know

- Wow I like this a lot. I'd like to know what the "burden" is.
