• Into the countryside,
    We watch, we waited,
    As Mother Nature came alive.
Across the green veil she shook,
    And outstretched her arms,
Where we could have a closer look,
At the butterflies and the bees,
Fluttering and buzzing through the trees,
    Where rainfall the night before,
Left moist kisses in the air,
    And they stroked our cheeks,
    Child-like blushes and we knew,
    That as the world grew,
    Our love did too,
With april showers feeding the sea,
Oh how the blossoms on the cherry tree,
Fell down upon us laying in the grass,
    Alone and infatuated,
Talking of the past, the future,
    Things to come,
    And how this summer would,
Be better than the last one.
