My Heart is Still Broken

Breaking my heart was the easiest thing to do,
Tearing it apart may be as easy to you,
But putting it back together, that was my task,
Keeping the pain inside hoping it'll heal fast.

But breaking into my life again, made me fear,
Still trying to believe that you'll never pull down my tear,
Hoping to forget the past,
And trying to forgive you fast.

My feelings for you are still inside my heart,
The same feelings I had,
All the way from the start,
But the way you broke me,
Made it never easy to believe,
Still trying to overcome,
Overcome that fear.

I know you still love me,
I know you still need me there,
I know you still believe in me,
I know you still care.
