We’re living in a Utopia,
Beautiful and comfortable,
But delicate.
We’re dying in a dystopia,
Buried in landfills
Along with our holy scriptures,
Awaiting our hour of resurrection.
We’re living a dangerous life
On the edge of reality,
Chasing the mornings,
Praying we survive another day.
We idolize flying pigs
Sitting on their throne of corruption
On skyscrapers that tower over mountains.
How? When?
Where will we go?
That is,
If we ever do escape.

- not sure why, but it made me think of pigs in suits with wings sitting atop skyscrapers of landfill waste. i liked it!...i feel like my story-starter "Utopia" kinda goes with this. 5 stars!

- That's deep, but considering i am cynnical i would have to argue it is only a dystopia. Did you know the word utopia actually means no place? XD
