Twisted love in twisted ways
We hear it loud and clear.
It begs us, play a little game
And doom this failed romance.
The game of love we always lost
Luck never on our side.
Our story is a tragedy.
That always turns out wrong
Lets play Juliet and Romeo
It'd be fun to do at first.
Words spun so soft
And words so fake
We'd close our eyes to see
Though pretty words deceive us
Every whisper is a lie
Our love is hidden under smoke and mirrors
Tell me what I long to hear.
I can be your Juliet
Your words can be my knife
Please sink them in so slowly
They are what hurt the most
And if you are my Romeo
Please let me pick your poison
And before you end this wretched life
Hold me close and tuck me in
If only just this night.
