There’s nothing left in the universal dock
But you, this world, and Dr. Glock.
The world, filled with life, earth, water, air, and steel,
Slowly murdered by the ones it raised to work and feel
Soon nothing left but the tick of the clock
And the beautiful song of Dr. Glock.
Then there is you,
Little, insignificant you.
Look around at what’s around,
One finds another, two now, oh the joy!
Sure, some fight, and sure some split,
But is that truly worse than never-lit?
You lay at home, sunk in your seat,
Watching The Notebook, what a feat!
Then you realize: nothing left.
Just tomorrow, the dream of wings,
And Dr. Glock’s heavenly ring.
And then, of course, is Dr. Clock.
Skin, soft, and cold when gently held
Loud voice of an archangel,
The most beautiful thing one’s ever beheld...
There’s nothing left in the universal dock
But you, this world, and Dr. Glock
