Why do we believe
That things can be proven
even though everything
and nothing is a Theory
Why do we say
We are drawn
Nothing but water and earth
No soul of any kind
Why do we sit
Thinking of the unknown
When everything
Is truly unknown
Why do we see
The unbelievable facts
When we don't look
At the unseen truths
Why do we cry
For the dead
When all they are
Is the dirt in the ground
Why do we sleep
At night
When the moon is out
Or the life is stopped
Why do we shiver
In the winter
When snow flakes fall
To fill our wholes
Why do we sweat
In the summer
When the sun rises
To warm our souls
Why do we Laugh
At something
When it is truly nothing
Though Its funny
Why do we smile
at others
When they fall
When they hurt
Why do we frown
For the forgotten
the later days
those that annoy
Why do we do anything
When we stare
When we think
when we sit and do nothing?
