Don't make her look.
She does not care,
but she must hold back
her lustful stare.
He looks away
head bowed in shame,
praying her sweet voice
doesn't whisper his name.
She won't say it
it would be too much to bare.
Just to utter his name,
but she doesn't care.
He doesn't say
what's on his mind.
His family comes
and he hides behind.
She blows a kiss;
he blows one back.
She gives a smile,
then turns her back.
He turns as well,
and lets her go
he loves her deeply
but she'll never know.
She walks quickly
if she could she would run.
She loves him so
but he'll only use her for fun.
He watches her leave
and wishes he said,
how he really feels
his eyes are turning red.
She says he doesn't phase her.
She gives it way in her stare.
She'd never let you know,
but for him she really cares.
He really loves this girl
she lights up his life.
But he's not sure how to tell her,
it causes so much strife.
They both love each other
but never let it show.
Will they ever end up together?
we may never know.

- Title: Our Love
- Artist: Murasaki Ryu Chan
- Description: This was inspired from the same event as my poem 'Our Battle' but it is written in a different spin. This is the more romantic side of the story, while 'Our Battle' speaks more of the resentment and anger.
