• The MoonLight Ride

    As we walk closer to where we have to go

    He put his hands over eyes my eyes and whipers

    “Wait it’s a surprise here let me show”

    My heart is pounding with excitement

    And my mind is racing with questions of what it could be

    Suddenly he says ‘keep ur close for me”

    I stand still thinking what could be the special gift

    He says “here open ur eyes this is it”

    I see a beautiful white and gold carriage with white roses cover all around

    And the horses are so tall they look as if they don’t touch the ground

    He says “get in and get ready for the time of your life

    Im just thinking this is going to be a wonderful sight

    We both get in and 1, 2, 3, off into the sky we go

    Were flying through the air, soaring, and swimming through the starry night sky

    And he says “welome to your moonlight ride.”

    My heart is filled with so much joy

    Because he did this out of love he became a man not a boy

    As he holds me close and he whispers in my ear“ I love you ”

    I give him a kiss and say thank you for opening my eyes and “I love you too”

    He says”no thank you for oprning mine”
