-
My eyes follow the shooting star and the gaze of the moon.
I’m alone in the night again,
Now accustomed to silence.
Though it truly is never silent.
The trees creek in the wind,
The leaves rustle on the ground,
Even a mouse makes an appearance.
If I close my eyes I’m back in a different world,
Surrounded by beautiful music.
The sound flows through me of the gentle yet masculine cello.
He calls on me once again.
Making my back arch and somehow send me longing for him again.
Oh how I miss his touch,
For only I know what its like.
He holds me strong as if he won’t let go,
Yet gentle and giving me a choice.
In his embrace I am at last safe.
While we touch I can hear nothing but the music.
But when he goes there is a loneliness none can describe,
For all the music is gone and so is his safe embrace.
