• What is betrayal?
    Could it be something tangible
    like the ache in your chest
    when you've done something wrong
    or is it merely the feeling
    when you are dissatisfied
    with something he has done?

    If it is the feeling,
    than what do I feel for you?
    I fought her for you,
    died for you,
    broke down and gave up my dreams for you,
    and now you stand here,
    telling me how wonderful she is
    what she has done
    even as you hold me close
    and tell me all I am to you.
