A little boy,
Had a nightmare,
That told him that,
He should beware.
The evil man,
On the black horse,
Whose soul is just,
A pitch black force.
But he awoke,
From that dark dream,
When a fairy,
Let out a scream.
“How can this boy,
This lazy fool,
Be destined to,
Save all Hyrule?!”
So Link got up,
And with a yawn,
He saw the sun,
Twas long past dawn.
The fairy said,
“My name’s Navi,
You’ve been summoned,
By the great tree.”
But Milo blocked,
The only road,
And there he stayed,
With shoulder cold.
“Until you have,
A sword and shield,”
Milo explained,
“I shall not yield.”
A shield Link bought,
For a fair price,
Twas made of wood,
And would suffice.
But any sword,
Link still did lack,
Without a blade,
He can’t attack.
Within a chest,
Alone it stood,
He finds a sword,
Both strong and good.
Now at the tree,
The great deku,
Link finds out what,
He has to do.
A man in black,
Has cast a curse,
That Link must break,
‘Fore it gets worse.
So Link enters,
The deku tree,
And thus begins,
His destiny.
Inside a chest,
Is a slingshot,
Which Link must use,
Now quite a lot.
Link finds this curse,
The spider queen,
She has one eye,
But she’s still mean.
Link shoots a seed,
Into the eye,
Of queen Gohma,
She didn’t die.
With a loud shout,
Link leaps forward,
And cuts the eye,
With his sharp sword.
The queen falls dead,
Link’s done his part,
And proven he,
Is strong at heart.
But the great tree,
Yet still will die,
However hard,
Link chose to try.
