• Within the escape of time a dream would taunt me.
From the past he arrives to haunt me.
Inside my Nightmare he danced about me,
Under the moon he pranced around me.
Into the darkness he would pull me,
Up a looming tower he tried to fool me.
Outside the window I would peer,
Around every corner I watched in fear.
Throught the day I cried my tears,
During the night I prayed for light.
Despite the dread that held my breaking heart,
Beneath the bed I hid wishing I could depart.
In the room he would walk, looking for me like a precious art.
Beyong the horizon my saviors came,
In spite of himself my Nightmare sang.
Off their high horses they did step,
Against the evil man they fought as though he were no threat.
Until that time I knew of nothing, but an everlasting pain.
From the tower they did save me, and my Nightmare was slain.
My saviors, my saviors, oh how they have come!
Together we ride into the setting sun.
