• Kalli went walking through the midnight woods
To look for the white magical flower
That will be put in with her other goods,
Which can be found within her large tower.

She could use these items in different ways,
But combined, the dragon can be controlled,
Which has been after her for many days,
For she is magical, or so I’ve been told.

Kalli soon came upon a large meadow,
With hundreds of flowers, pink, white, and red,
But she needed to find one that flows,
Cold fire from its core, before she went to bed.

And then she saw it, the flower pure white,
Like newly fallen snow in dead winter.
Kalli picked it with fingers, so light,
And put it into a pre made container.

She took it back to her palace in the hills,
And she made her potion with all she gathered.
The cauldron, with its potion, soon fills.
With a great bang it quickly cooled.

An amulet, she picked up form its depths,
To tame the dragon she put it right on.
She called to the dragon, saying this,
“Come to me and you shall be tamed dragon.”

Her amulet started to glow bright.
The light went throughout the many lands.
The dragon first saw, then felt the light.
He then spread his wings to take flight from the sands.

This blue dragon drifted through the sky,
Towards Kalli, on the tower she waited.
The scenery below quickly went by,
But he noticed the light, slightly faded.

Kalli noticed as well, the power ebbing,
But the dragon was called, heading her way.
She looked up, the dragon she’s seeing,
And it looked angry; she’ll probably pay.

The fire in the dragon was growing large,
Waiting to be let freed onto the Earth.
Kalli watched the dragon getting ready to charge,
Holding the amulet for all its worth.

She thought that her kingdom would be destroyed,
Melted by the dragon’s angry fire,
But something happened that she had not expected,
Another dragon was called from his lair.

The red dragon came breathing ice, not fire,
And when he saw what was happening,
He knew what he now desired.
The safety of the kingdom, they were needing.

The red dragon charged at the blue,
And they battled above the rocky ground,
Sometimes connected to each other like glue,
But only one winner would be found.

The red dragon defeated his opponent,
And saved was the kingdom in the hills.
Back to the desert the blue dragon went.
The red dragon now did Kalli’s will.

He protected her kingdom through the end,
Whenever anything happened he was there,
There wasn’t anything he couldn’t mend,
Kalli knew the red dragon would always care.
