I do believe,
my do-good friends,
that death is a precious topic.
One in a million,
not wanting to be discussed,
but discuss do we do.
Death;
a fragile and natural topic.
One wrong word,
and as the selfish creatures we are,
we would cause others more grief just to get rid of our own.
To die ourselves.
And then there is Love.
The object of everyone's eye;
that brings out our strongest of favorite emotions.
No money, objects, or items could ever add up to the value of what Love can give your very soul.
Who needs anything else when there is love?
What else in your life could you possibly compete with love?
But everything good never lasts.
Hence;
'Till Death do us part.'
And then there is the third;
Hate.
The third of the powerful emotions.
How thin the line of love and hate.
how easy it is to slip over.
To fall under,
to go beneath.
To hate.
To wish for the object of your hate to die, how little you know it could really just be love.
How little we all know about hate.
How little it could really exist.
How often it is just love undercover.
How often hate slips away from our grimy grasp on life.
And thus the trio,
in order,
Death is the birth of something new,
and often it can create new love.
And how easily love creates hate,
and how when you hate you can wish for someone to die.
And how little you really understand it could just be love.
And I suppose death is the beginning of it all,
but it is a cycle,
and so it starts at any angle.
So, please, my friends,
Now that you have listened and heard;
begin your journey.

- Title: A trio of Emotions
- Artist: Scarletgreen
-
Description:
A poem of the strongest emotions and objects in our life that we deal with every year, month, day, and hour.
I thought it might be interesting to make a poem about the trio,
so, tell me;
what do you think? - Date: 02/03/2009

Possibly,
I would consider so.
Maybe I should have titled the poem as 'Feelings', then.
This is my font, sorry. smile
And if I had done all of the emotions,
it would have gone an infinite amount of words. - Report As Spam

- Try a normal sized font lol I would say this is a shallow look at human emotions but still not a bad poem or idea for one. Love, hate, grief, (I really like the way you turned grief to death) but also there is, frustration, nostalgia, sadness, happiness, attachment, and ever single word has a feeling or emotion with it. The word "is" has it's own feeling. Hmmm, this raises a question, is there a difference between a feeling and an emotion?
