Red, blue, white, black, yellow
A rose given from a certain fellow
Blue, yellow, black, white, red
A token of love, nothing said
Black, red, yellow, white, blue
What's a girl to do?
Yellow, blue, red, black, white
How could something be as luminescent as the light?
White, red, blue, yellow, black
It's only a rose. What could it lack?
So many colors and only one scent
The color fades and one wonders where the time went

- Well, it should read,"How could something be as luminescent as light". "The" is used to refer to something specific. This is really a really good poem. I'm going to favorite it.
