• Description: i wrote this at the thought of the awesome book "city of ember" its a series about the last people o earth and how they lived underground and lived with electricity, no sun or moon. after 250 sumthin yrs went by 3 ppl made it bak from the city ,Ember. anyways ull find out the rest if u read it.its sorta emo but i like it :)

I used to have a life,
but it's gone now.
I was left behind like a piece of trash,
only visible through a seeing glass.
Locked away from the world,
as my mind spinned and whirrled.
Why did this happen to me?
Could people not see?
They were blinded by thoughts,
thinking will they get caught?
Leaving behind kids like me,
into a sea of sorrow destiny.

The City of Emeber was a great book, awsome poem too!^^
