I am hoping. I am dreaming.
I wonder why time goes on.
I hear the music in my head.
I see new doors opening everyday.
I want to leave this for something new.
I am wishing. I am singing.

I pretend not to care
I feel wonder everyday.
I touch my pen with every thought.
I worry about the stuggles that I see.
I cry for those without feeling.
I am wishing. I am dreaming.

I understand the danger that I am in.
I say not to judge by their faces.
I dream of twisting, turning tunnels.
I try not to show my fear.
I hope for a world without predjudice.
I am wishing. I am dreaming.
