Remember That Day?

  I saw recently on a comment on someone's poem that went something like this:
  
  "It's funny how this is the only one that makes me go awwww. All the other stuff is depressing."

You and me?
Me and you?
Sitting there in the school yard?
Just hanging out?

Remember that week?
The first week of school?
Just us. Together.
You took me around.
Showed me the ropes.

Remember that year?
Our second year in High School?
You found out I loved you.
I was madly in love with you.
You knew.
I told you.

Remember that night?
That very special night.
You and me.
Me and you.
We stood there.
The moon shining down.
And we kissed.

Remember that moment?
That special moment we shared?
The one that will never be again?
You and me.
Me and you.
Maybe someday...
I love you
