Betrayed

I thought I knew you, but what I knew was fake.
You thought you had me fooled, and you were right about that.
All I really wanted was someone to look up to.
All you wanted was someone who was easy to manipulate, and you got it.
I really thought I could trust you.
But you changed all of that.

I really thought you were different then everyone else,
But you proved me wrong.
I thought that maybe I had found someone who could change everything.
You had changed something, but it wasn't in a way I had in mind.

I think I've learned my lesson.
But I'm not sure what it is.
I think all I need to do now,
is try to forget you.

ive been manipulated, walked on, and trampled on.... i hate it.... ppl these days think they can jus use ya and lose ya......... im tired of being so nice. if ppl r gonna try and walk all over me,now, from now on im keepin my posse limit to 4 and whoevr else wants to join then ill check into that and pencil them in, but one of the current peepses has to go.... 1 thats tryna b mor powerful than the posse leader

i have been thru that before and being betrayed does not feel good to anyone. i thank you for writing this and this poem can teach anyone to make the right choices in friends instead of the wrong ones
