My world is dark
so very dark
i'm so all alone

My mind is distant
And so am I
I can’t think straight
I feel blind

I was so lost
With out a light
I began to wander
That endless night

I came upon
A river of gloom
So still and stagnant
Like the reflected moon

The graceful water
So enticingly black
Dared me to jump
And not look back

I soon gave in
And leaped into
Liquid darkness
As thick as glue

I tried to swim
But sank instead
I cut myself
And then I bled

I hit the ground
My breath broke free
I lost control
So suddenly

Tears escaped
They stung my eyes
Water attacked
And drowned my cries

I lost myself
In the river of gloom
I shouldn’t have jumped
And ensured my doom

So goodbye
Goodbye my friends
This is the day
My whole world ends
