• My heart beats faster
    as I look to the right
    I am scared stiff
    in the dead of the night

    The noises around me
    the music of terror
    the sound of Inferi
    from a monster's lair

    The voice in my head
    says to turn on a light
    so I simply flip a switch
    and away goes my fright

    But I cannot sleep
    not white, but black
    when i turn my light off
    the monsters come back

    I'm in a dilemma
    don't know what to do
    I can't fall asleep
    as long as they're here too

    I just cannot stand it
    I must find out what's
    been making these noises
    that're driving me nuts

    So I turn on a flashlight
    and what do I see?
    a horde of monsters
    coming straight at me!

    I finally wake up
    all covered in sweat
    it was just a nightmare
    that I'll never forget
