• This time of year,
    It’s time for cheer!
    When the snowflakes fall
    Children big and small
    Wait for this day
    And there they lay
    Restless through the night
    Can’t wait for the next day
    The day of delight
    They laugh and sing and jump with joy
    When they get that special toy
    Playing with it all through the day
    Oh how much can you say
    About this special Christmas day
    And in the end
    You might have forgotten to send
    The best gift of all
    The gift that can be big or small
    The gift of love
    The one that you just cant shove
    It brings joy to this day
    Love makes this the best holiday
    But don’t forget to wish a Happy New Year
    To hope that this year there shall be not one tear
    That everyone will have a place to call home
    And that there shall not be one broken bone
    For everyone that has had a broken heart
    That this year will be a new start
    A new beginning
    This story has ended
    And so a new one starts
    Forgetting the past
    And making the good times last
    That’s the loving spirit
    Now come on let’s hear it
    Say what we all love to hear
