Memories

• Description: This is a poem I wrote one night to help me cope with the loss of a loved one. This peice is about how memories are worth a lot more then objects and even though those objects are convient and fun, they could never compare to all the memories that you have experienced in your life. Something could always happen to those objects but your memories stay with you untill the end.

Pictures crinkle, rip, and tear
but the memories are still always there.

Photos often just fade away
but the memories are here to stay.

Clips and videos are fun, it's a fact
but the memories are what stay intact.

Possessions often are nice to keep
but good memories are what help you sleep.

So keep your pictures, videos, and toys if that's what you choose
but it's the memories that I just can not bear to lose.
