I look into a still moonlight-filled puddle,
But I don't see me.
No, it's not me,
Just a mask, a cloak.
I look deep into the reflection.
Into the eyes shown there,
For they are the only part of me that shows
But still not revealing who I am.
I know the real me is not like
The only me I know.
I can try to see who others are, truly,
But why can't I see me?
I keep searching in that reflection
To find an imperfection
In the crystalis or cocoon,
To let myself out.
To finally know if in the reflection
I will see a butterfly or a moth.
