Strong, wise eyes rest upon beauty
Feel the eagle's pride
Shattering, blissful wings turn to treacherous chains
Everyone thinks this; it must be insane
Hear the eagle's cry
Falling from once grace and myth
Could this be true? I see tears of burning blue
Power can never fall to pity
No one bothered to look into those pleading eyes
Watch the eagle die

- Title: Hear the Eagle's Cry
- Artist: iactuallydontusethissite
- Description: I wrote this poem to explain that sometimes you need to look into someone's eyes and try to find if there is maybe a missing spark and there's something wrong. So I wrote it metaphorically I guess is what you can call it. I hope all of you like it! And once again, I'm terribly sorry if you think I copied your poem. I wrote this in my guest room with no ideas from other poems.
