Candles burn and then flicker
Holly is hung from the fireplace
Rich hot chocolate, drank real slow
Is keeping me warm this cold winter night.
Santa is coming
To give presents away
Merry Christmas, he says
And then rides away
Sleigh bells jingling all the way

- actually, i think she meant the "real slow" part. my english teacher makes a big deal about that kind of thing. i think it should be like, "drank slowly."

- Yeah, I'm getting tired of people who talk big about writing, spelling and grammar getting made at me when they can't even do it themselves. Thank you, Alitare!

- "But I would point out that 'drank real slow' doesn't make any gramatical sense." This coming form someone who cannot even spell "grammatical correctly" There is a god damned Spell checker built in! Sweet Christ, I hate humanity, I am not even rating this poem! I give your comment, charbookwyrm, a 1/5!

- It means to drink something slowly but in past tense, sweet heart.

- It's quite a nice little poem. But I would point out that 'drank real slow' doesn't make any gramatical sense. 3/5
