A shadow lies waiting in the dark
A thousand screams ring into the night
Cries of despair and a bloody mark
Left behind so many broken

A thousand dead lay
A song of sweet sorrow and death
Please don’t take them away
So many shattered lives
He doesn’t want to see another bullet

Two left standing on the battlefield of sorrows
All the grass now crimson
Scents of blood mixed no coming tomorrows

Gripping the guns
Both men stand unwounded
One shot left amongst all the ones
