I lie on the ground awaiting my fate and I see myself through stranger’s eyes. My Father laughs with us, my mother comforts us. This is indeed a stranger’s world. My sister’s eyes glimmer with love. My course, ragged, cloak acts as a mother’s womb. My horse’s coarse reigns feel soft as silk.
Finally, I see the best of all. My Lord and savoir sits on a stone. I bring myself up to move to my God. I call to him, “Thank you! Thank you! I give you my life! Please, oh, please Lord, just take me home!”
He looks at me, with eyes full of love. He beckons to me, “Why would I not? Come to me child!” As I proceeded to my Father, I see myself fall. Yet, my mind and soul continued to drift. I clung to my Lord with all of my love. And as we ascended to the Heavens, I let my troubles free.
